gt-titan Posted September 26, 2007 Report Share Posted September 26, 2007 you don't need a different ECU i have done two swaps and in both cases ecu was replaced due to rev limit on the auto tranny. are u meaning just having it chipped instead of replacing? We ran my friends '90 with the stock computer after the T5 swap. Now that I think of it, it did have a Hypertech chip, not sure if that had anything to do with it.
