Wheel swap on the Formula, yes or no?

Guy wants to trade me my Pro-Stars an tires for his, which are Sportmax 962 gunmetal 18x8 and 18x9.5 fronts 255 toyo proxes and rears are 305 nitto drag radials

If you click on "sportmax" wheels on the left hand side, and scroll down until you see the 962's in gunmetal like you've shown, you'll see the fronts are $150/each and the rears are $155/each. How the hell does that equal $1200?

 

He's pulling your chain, offer him $5-600 for them, if the tread is plenty.

Ahh, oops. $1200 for the set is what he wants, the wheels/tires have 1k miles on them.

 

My Pro-Stars are outdated by certification standards, and have some blemishes from racing, obviously. I think I'd make out, but I wanna make sure these wheels he has will hold up. I can always send them to Wheel Medic and have them redo the colors.
