schmuckingham
Trust me you do not want a F series trans for boost unless you plan on being only a roll car. If your going to race at the track the H23 is your best bet for a boosted F/H series. But hey do what you want with your car and come see me when its not what you wanted it to be My last car was a built F22b2 with a stock tranny aside from the ACT flywheel and clutch kit. Stock head and IM on a SC61 E housing, 300FWHP/347FT/LBS http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/Schmuckingham/cars/Pics012.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/Schmuckingham/cars/0902278e.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v226/Schmuckingham/cars/Pics013.jpg I know a little about these cars
Scotty2Hotty
H23 is a better platform to boost from what I was under the impression.
schmuckingham
They have a better head and IM but the bottom end isn't as strong as the F22B1/2. The F22B2 has cast sleeves with an open deck so all you need is a blockguard and some rods/pistons and your good. Eventually youll want to sleeve it but thats the 400+ HP range and i think thats just dumb for FWD in any platform unless you like going from rolls all the time and playing catch up
DaddyBuiltRacing
The F series is fine to boost. It has stronger stock sleeves then that of a H series, but the trans gearing sucks. But hey like i've said its your car and to each thier own.

V8 Beast
Best thing you can do is get a cheap 5.0 shell and drop an sbc in it. A couple thousand will give you an 11 sec car. Its cheaper and its easier to build.
