BDHG940
Asking for a friend that is having a TT kit installed. the mechanic said passenger side turbo is hitting the alternator. Are there relocation kits for it or does anyone know the best resolution? Any information would be good that I could pass on to them

Miller
They sell relocation kits for the alternator. I had the same problem, I would just cut the pipe and weld it at a diff angle.
Boost-n-Juice
If the person installing my TT kit couldn't figure that out, I would say that is the least of your friends worries. Wow.

Mattsn2o281
Easy answer is get rid of the bracket that the smog pump and alt bolt to, ditch smog pump, buy march alt bracket. adjust pipe as needed. not as easy as it sounds. lol. seriously though, a twin turbo kit isnt something that an amature with no fab skills should be messing with. i'd speak to one of the shops on here and get someone who knows what they are doing to help. BDHG940
the mechanic is a pretty good fabricator, just wanted to check to see if this was common. Its an ebay twin setup and you either have to cut and re-angle the pass. side turbo mount or relocate the alt. Ill try and get some photos up The guy does a lot of diesel work and not normally a mustang mechanic, just helping a friend out.
