Science Abuse
Time for Jag belts, and I've got a tiny SC pulley. I've heard of people using "Gator-back" type belts and claiming they're better, any merrit? Anything else better?
mrtbolt64
http://www.goodyearep.com/ProductsDetail.aspx?id=3128 Just make sure to adjust your tension properly. If its an automatic tensioner, make sure the spring is not wore out. You can get these even if there special order threw autozone fairly cheap too
schmuckingham
I lot of the SVT folks use gatorback or "gates" belts. I am assuming the gates is a Napa only item but i have never personally run one. You can also look to see if there are new idler pulleys in larger diameters to keep the tension and wrap the belt around the blower pulley more
Science Abuse
I'd thought about toying with the tension and layout, but I don't want to sideload the bearings anymore than they already are.
schmuckingham
Gotcha. Also we have a free mod on our tensioners that allows it to have more range of motion without hurting anything. I am unsure of your pulley and idler set-up
