Ramsey
The car vibrates at higher speeds. Shit pisses me off. Could a stock driveshaft be out of balance? Would more suspension mods get rid of this? Fox body guys; how does yours ride?
Stimmel1647545512
Mine is a vert so its a lil different and would vibrate at around 110-120 so I took it apart to do poly bushings new contorl arms new springs and shocks in the back, adjustable struts up front springs up front poly sway bar bushings and contorl arm bushings but havent driven it yet..haha my buddy had a 88 coupe did the same thing it had a bent axle tho

Gray, it is not as clean as the pics show, prolly could use a wet sand and buff. Also, im working on getting my winter beater. Cant decide if i want a car payment or not. AI Coupe
Same problem... EZ fix. Alumnium shaft at Jegs, usually in stock. Ron
Ramsey
Not worse under accel. What all will i need to swap in new drive shaft? New u-joints, yolk?
AI Coupe
4 bolts out & drop, fit the new shaft, slip in the yoke & replace 4 bolts. DONE! Unless your bushings are really bad, as in almost gone, I don't see this as a fix for vibration. Ron
Boost-n-Juice
if it's a pulsation in the chassis and not the steering wheel, then the aluminum drive shaft should fix the problem. Either way the aluminum DS is a good investment.
Dave1647545494
before you change the driveshaft....... check the engine mounts and make sure they are in good shape and not hardened or mushy also check the tranny crossmember and make sure it hasn't rusted away the most probable cuase is the driveshaft, but check all the other stuff first

Buckeye1647545503
Check the output bearing in the tail shaft most people miss this and it will Always cause a vib
Bam
had the same problem, driveshaft was bent, and the car was bone stock, I think some previous owner hit something in the road and it tapped it, replaced the ds and it was all gravy again
TA In Progress
Had a bad pinion bearing do this in my TA, worse when you would let off the gas, but it was only at high speeds (70+). Not sure if this is an issue in Fords or not though..

93_ChargedCobra_342
Might try un bolting and turning the drive shaft 90 degrees till the pattern lines up, repeat until you are back where you started. If you get back to where you started the problem could be in the shaft itself, or elsewhere in the car.
