SPLN SUX
yeah deff and 5. Nick your crazy to think its a 6. The 6 out of the S80, doesnt sound like a 6 when its opened up... its a known fact that they all sound like shit below 4k, once it gets up on its tune though is where i hear that faint twang of the 6, similar to that of a focus with no cat and no muffler. This is what a 5 sounds like... you can hear that distinct reverberation similar to that of a VW 4... the 6's sounds a lot different than a say a 2JZ or a M motor. SPLN SUX
Apple- Meet Orange. Sheps car does not sound like my Colt, does not sounds like my RX-7. and they are all 4GXX. But that first video you posted- Aint no inline 6. Im not saying im right, but i hear distinct things in that note that makes me belive its the 6. Im very keen about picking out engines just by the notes... I was doing it at Marc's house when we were working on Thornes car... Marc was playing videos on his laptop and i was calling out the engines that the cars in the videos had. I think i only missed 1 out of about 12 or 15. Sheps car sounds like a 4G... your colt did too... they all have the same note, just added or muffeld noise at certian parts of the power band. hell i dont know if anyone even reembers the last DTM dynoday in 05 where i was sitting in the trunk of the blue 03 Cobra running the 21psi pully that we changed up on the rollers. Brian had put a tune into it and on its first pass before he even pulled it up i called out that it was lean around the 3500-4000rpm mark. and sure enough, there was a big spike it the graph at about 3800. Im just good at picking out sounds i suppose.
SPLN SUX
It outran the camera's framerate.. Volvo s are known to do that... mine is actully slower than the highspeed camera, so i never even make it into the frame.
