Rally Pat
I think doing it over a network would be the easiest way. Plug both computers into a router/switch/hub/whatever you have, or better yet use a crossover cable and connect them directly together. Set up file sharing in windows, and drag and drop everything you want to save. Everything will go even faster if both computers have gigabit. Buck531
Get an external USb drive, use GHOST and create an image onto the USB drive.. install new hard drive, dump ghost image down on new drive. done.
mmrmnhrm
Pain in the butt. i've got a USB > PATA (3.5" and 2.5") adapter you can have for $5. Makes the old laptop drive look just like any other external hard drive.
Cougar1647545494
Ghost it onto a few cds or a dvd.
87GT
They sell 2.5" hard drive cases that go out as USB. It just makes it a usb hard drive. That is the easiest if you have another computer.
