Got any tips for ventilation and keeping dirt down when painting in an attached garage? I've got a single window and a standard double door. I'm going to try to pick up an HVLP gun before my next attempt, the grav feed that I have just put way too much paint in the air.

After the clear has cured the vehicle is dry sanded or wet sanded. I prefer to dry sand because it more time effiecent and less mess. I blow it off and start buffing.

Doesn't dry sanding take off a shit ton of clear? Or do you spray more on to compensate for this?

No its take off the same if not less. One major benifet it you dont have any harsh spots to buff back up like when wet sanding. It cuts a lot more evenly then wet sanding.

MANY good painters paint open air and turn out work equaling high dollar shops.

Looks good kevin

i agree...project in 04 for us...painted in a 2 car garage...had a fly fall into the paint clear as the 4th coat was drying

some wet sanding it is gone!

all in the prep and detail after the paint and clear are applied.
