slow4now
I have for sale a 42" Toshiba HD ready tv model number 42h83. It is in mint condition. I bought it at the end of 03. I take EXCELLENT care of everything that I own. I just bought another TV and have no use for this one. See this link for more info on this model http://www.tacp.toshiba.com/televisions/product.asp?model=42H83 I will also throw in a HD Tuner so you can watch over the air HD programming (abc, nbc, cbs, fox etc) and an "on top of the tv" component stand. You'll be hard pressed to get this amount of TV anywhere else for the price. $400 Email me at rickybullock@gmail.com if you're interested in looking at it. Thanks. slow4now
Here is a picture of it. That reciever and speaker on top of the tv are sitting on the shelf that I am giving away with it, the hd tuner is not pictured. http://race-club.org/pics/hdtv.jpg

Nitrousbird
You'll be hard pressed to get this amount of TV anywhere else for the price. $500 I'm only quoting this because that is inaccurate: I bought a 57" Sony CRT HD, mint condition, a year ago for $550. I didn't feel hard pressed.

Lustalbert
It means that it is ready for HD. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/HD_Ready "In the USA, "HD Ready" refers to any display that is capable of accepting and displaying a high-definition signal at either 720p, 1080i or 1080p using a component video or digital input, and does not have a built-in HD-capable tuner." slow4now
what exactly does hd ready mean? It means it does not have a built in HD tuner, but that is why I am including a tuner. If you're getting HD cable or satellite it is a moot point.
