KMC along with HMC(hyundai) intends to be one of the top five automakers in the us by 2010. now over see's the two walk hand and hand. but they keep away from each other over here. for there own reasons. now they are opening a kia plant in georgia later this year. and the new trucks should be here late this year too! just look at how many jd power and associates awards kia has won over the last few years! Kia has become one of the fastest growing automotive brands in the united states. relatively new entry, its growth in the past decade as a foreign brand is unrivaled and exceeds even toyota and hondas in there first ten years in the us operation! not bad for a company that started making steel tubing and bicycle parts in 1944!
