Limitedslip7
If it ever spools. After trying Turbonetics and Garrett, I decided to give Borg Warner a shot. Their prices seem to be very economical compared to Garrett. I picked up this S480 brand new for only $880 and the build quality seems to be excellent. Anyone have any experience with Borg Warner? This will be going in my purpose built autocross RX-7. GT4202 on the left for comparison. http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m187/limitedslip7/P3140204.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m187/limitedslip7/P3140211.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m187/limitedslip7/P3140206.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m187/limitedslip7/P3140208.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m187/limitedslip7/P3140209.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m187/limitedslip7/P3140210.jpg
tristanlee85
I ran a Borg Warner on my old setup. Definitely not big like that, but the quality of it was very good. It just needed a rebuild due to its age.
Draco-REX
A turbo that big for Auto-X? How are you going to keep it spooled? Or will its monstrous size act like a flywheel?

Ditto, that is not a auto-x turbo. Thats a kill everyone's cat's in the 614 highway pull turbo.

Limitedslip7
S480 has a 1.32 a/r turbine housing, GT42 has a 1.01 a/r turbine. Miller, your pm box is full, the turbo is sold. http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m187/limitedslip7/P3140201.jpg http://i104.photobucket.com/albums/m187/limitedslip7/P3140200.jpg
