steelhorse
Any of you guys messed with sticking a hydrogen generator setup in your vehicles yet? Just curious, I'm in the works of doing it myself, kinda looking for other ideas.
Patrick
Not really. It seems more people aim to burn more gas around here than save.
Casper
Any of you guys messed with sticking a hydrogen generator setup in your vehicles yet? Just curious, I'm in the works of doing it myself, kinda looking for other ideas. I've been looking into it. I have lots of info, drawings, schematics, etc. I'll post them up when I get a chance. I'll probably build one this year. Looks amazingly easy. Just be careful, guys end up disappearing after they make it work. No joke.
Scotty2Hotty
It doesn't exist.
steelhorse
I was able to produce quite a bit of hydrogen with just a couple copper conductors in a glass of water. I've done the math and the only way to make it work while saving gas, is to run it on an independent battery, otherwise you're just making your alternator work that much harder. A couple of deep cells in parallel should be enough to power the system for about 8 hours, or a decent road trip. It also has the advantage of making the air to the motor much richer in oxygen. It's actually an HHO gas generator that I'm building. It's cheap so I figure it's worth a shot.
