iwishiwascool
he cleaned the spare tire! Reallocate the man hours and product money spent doing all that into an actual job and he could have bought a brand new one.
Kevin R.
he cleaned the spare tire! Reallocate the man hours and product money spent doing all that into an actual job and he could have bought a brand new one. I am guessing this is his real job. A detail job of this caliber would run into the thousands of dollars, so not bad.
99FLHRCI
If you read a little further through the responses he says "I bought the car back in May. I worked on it as and when I could (when it wasn't raining), usually on Saturday afternoons and Sundays plus the odd evening. I havn't actually kept a count of the total hours spent." The post was made 9/9. Weekends and evenings for 4 months!!! Classic OCD if you ask me.

Clifford Automotive
His secret ingredient… http://img291.imageshack.us/img291/6349/19289274jr1.png All it takes is, allot of time! Not really. I can get around a whole car in 45 minutes taking my time. When we do full details part of it is wash, machine polish, wash, hand glaze. He did a good job, but the only downfall is 3 days later the interior looked like shit. One thing I hate about our Jetta is the interior. It holds dirt like thats its job. It will be getting rewrapped in leather this summer. And I have to figure out another option for the carpet. MK3's had better interior for dirt repelling. lcz06
wash, machine polish, wash, hand glaze I can do that all as well in 45 mins. No offence, but you seem to have missed allot of steps. It’s all about prep as I apply multiple coats, of many different products to get my desired look/durability. Here are the ending results, ( Some of my sold cobra. This is also from a pos 2 MP camera) http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/7813/1004444nr3.jpg http://img301.imageshack.us/img301/5623/1004446sn2.jpg http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/9852/1004221fu8.jpg Vette (not even going all out, Half Assed) http://img442.imageshack.us/img442/8499/dsc0084ri6.jpg
