This is a 2001 Ford Explorer XLT it has 121,xxx miles on it. Tan leather, towing package, 3rd row seats, 4WD, clean body....has two "bad spots" that i noticed on a brief look over, one on the front edge of the hood (not rust) and a scatch on the rear bumper, otherwise a solid truck body/interior wise.

Here is the deal, i bought it not running on a whim of it possibly being a simple fix. After some diagnostics on the truck without tearing anything apart, we came to the conclusion that the timing chain has possibly jumped. It has the 4.0L SOHC V6 (VIN E) I have no idea if it is interference or not. Having not heard the truck run i can't say one way or the other about anything else on it. Upon crawling under the truck, the pads have good life left, the CV boots aren't torn, suspension is solid, tires have some life left in them.

Your welcome to PM me with a number and we can arrange for you to come and hear it crank and do any checking out you want. This is a great truck for someone with time/money to flip, blue book value is 7K-9K which is why i bought the truck. I have no interior shots as of yet, i am going to clean the truck before it sells. Here are two exterior pics, I am happy to take particular pictures if serious. Clear title, i just have to get it put in my name, i've only had the truck for a week.

I don't need the "that price is too high" shit in here either, if you have the resources you can turn a good profit on it, i could still turn a good profit, i just don't have the time or facilities to do a major tear down and i'm in college. If your not interested, move on and keep your opinions to yourself. Thanks!
