FAKE! Where's the smoke and 5 inch pipe?

That's cleaver sound editing. It's a Cummins that has been dubbed over the vette doing a burnout.

It would be nearly impossible to put a 5.9L Cummins in a vette. No, I'm pretty sure it would be impossible to make it fit and still be able to close the hood. If they would have dubbed it over with a Duramax sound at least it would have been a bit more believable.

It is a good burnout though.

I know they have diesel Vettes up in Detroit as testers as I saw a couple of them when I was with a customer a couple years back. Not sure what they were doing with them as he would say much, but they had the diesel 335's there too.

Not sure what motor it was but actually sounded good.

They're are a variety of diesel engines one could stick in there. Pick up a copy of Diesel Power magazine some time, people swap a big variety of different diesels into all kinds of things. The diesels found in 1-ton pickups are by no means the only readily available swap engines.

Whether it's fake or not, who knows.

I do ;) Its fake! Kyle from 1320video.com did it as a prank a few months ago. Good editing anyways
