ok who's got some sort of welder type

 

My wastegate on my turbo there is 2 nuts one is welded to the wastegate arm to adjust it...well some how I broke the welds on it I need someone just to tack it back so I can adjust it... quick easy take ya 2 seconds who can do it an how much?

 

I can get pics too an can have it on the car or off its easily accessible an doesn't have to be preety

its the nut on the right its an adjuster but some how i was adjustign it and it just broke doesnt need to be a full all the way around weld just a tac on both side or somethign so i can adjust it

I can do it. Why don't you just use another wrench to hold it still though?

 

the nut on the left is the tightening nut... the one on the right was welded to the wastegate arm..now it jsut spins ...so the nut spins i cant

1 adjust the arm(rotate for more or less boost)

2 even if i were to that arm is jsut gonna spin under boost do it nothign holding it tight (nut against nut) so the arm will hold boost

dang man that sucks lol with all the money youve spent fixing that thing, you should have just turboed the grand prix lol

 

direct opposite i havce less then 400 bucks in mods adn only thing ive had to fix was a clutch ....so the amount of racing im surprised my shit didtn blow up last year or even this year yet!

 

im gonna messsage one of you guys ina few days so much shit goign on it s crazy ahhh

I'm not sure what nut I am looking at in the pictures, but if you haven't found a solution yet I can tack it up for you. I'm in Grove City though. I've got a MIG with mild steel wire so it will tend to rust in the future perhaps. As long as it's easily accessible it's not a problem.
