zeitgeist57
Has anyone gotten parts from the auto salvage yards on McKinley Road (westside of downtown C'Bus, south of Grandview)? Namely: 1) Woody's Auto Salvage - http://www.insiderpages.com/b/3719552496 2) Central City Auto Parts - http://www.eccap.com/ My '82 Chevy has a few things wrong with it (particularly the gauges and double-shaft radio don't work), and I wondered if it's worth the effort to check these places out... Rally Pat
Central City is kind of a rip off, Edisons and Woodys can produce some good stuff though.
Guest mrhobbz
Could try buckeye auto parts too.

Ziggy1647545504
I'd stay away from CCAP. Woody's is a good yard, though.
GonneVille
CCAP is not worth it. Woody's has a fair number of vehicles, usually late 80s to mid 90s, but they jam the cars in so tight some can't be accessed. Edison usually has a lot of cars, but is MUDDY and there doesn't seem to be any organization beyond "Cars left, minivans right". They also seem to get the "weird" stuff more than other yards. PnP is still the best though.
Dave1647545494
if you don't want to pull the parts ccap is your best bet they charge a little more but I've never gotten anything but top quality from them...... I'd check around some of the truck resto places or jc whitney you can probably have the stuff brand new for a decent price

zeitgeist57
I went to Woody's today and they had absolute shit. I'll check Central City just to see if they have what I need.
Stanello
I got a window for my FC about 3 years ago at Buckeye. Definitely paid a premium, but I needed it that day.
badasskylark
I'd try Edison's for your truck parts. It is a nasty muddy mess but the far right of the yard is all trucks and there is USUALLY quite a few 73-87 Truck's.
zeitgeist57
Where is Edison's? I'm looking for window gaskets, and some interior trim pieces. L.A. decades have rotted out the rubber and plastic bits inside my truck...even if a gasket is cracked, it's got to be better than the non-existant pieces I have on there, and it'll be cheaper than new... If you take the McKinley turn (The cresting turn after passing over 670), at the bottom of the hill you'll take a right at the stop light. It's less than a quarter mile down the road on the right hand side.
