Anyone Work at Circuit City Car Audio Install Area?

Looking to have a Kicker amp/Sub that I already have mounted to an enclosure added to my car. It has a factory Bose system :( and the underpowered horrible sounding sub under the passenger seat has to go.

Should be a simple install/connection, but I'll need to add a gain control knob and have it connected too as I left mine in a previous car.

I'm asking about CC on Sawmill as it's close to my house and I'd like to know if anyone there is good to do this vs just taking it to folks blindly.

Thanks!

Circuit city or best buy should be able to do it or tell you what you need to know to get it done. I always talk to shane at Best Buy he is the mobile install manager and he has always taken great care of me!

I personally wouldnt go to circuit city on sawmill road. My friend went there to get his subs/amp installed, and he told them to make the amp hidden. He even told them where to mount it. 2 hours later we come back and they mounted it like directly in the center or the rear window... Tsk tsk tsk

My buddy works there in the Audio department and he has a couple buddies that actually do the installs. I can run this by him if you would like.

Thanks Chris. I actually took it up there at lunch yesterday, talked with Jason and Brian. Jason does the installs and seemed pretty good so I left it and had the install done. Sounds awesome. That's just what it needed.

It's a 10" Solo Baric 5 in an enclosure. Looks like this one. Amp is mounted to the back fold down seat. I hate to lose space, but it pops out pretty easily when needed. Wasn't sure if a Tube style would be as good or space saving. I already had this one too, so costs was very minimal. I have the Kicker grill over mine too to protect it pretty well.

I'm not an audiofile for car stuff but overall, I'm pleased. The 10" is square so it has a little more surface area, but it's still a nice tight hitting thump vs what i call "kiddie boom" that resonates outside the car. Nice for some, but not what I was after.

Good, I have been thinking about some kickers, one of my Memphis 10's are going to shit so I need to start thinking about another one.
