after picking up the XD s/c a few weeks ago, put 250 or so rounds through it, felt good. got home, wanted to break up some of the black like i did on the M&P and do some white lettering. didnt go as smooth as the M&Ps do, so i tried to get the paint off

in my efforts, i ended up fading out the slide quite well. wasn't happy with myself at all.

fast forward to gun show today. took XD to see if i could find anything that sparked my intrest. really wanted a Kahr PM 9 or 40, couldnt find either. started looking at a few Glock 26's. found one guy had tagged at 499.95. told him i'd trade him my XD and 100$ for it. he trys $120, i told him $100, then says $110, tell him $100 again. says hes gonna call "the boss". "boss" calls "the owner", he tells me $106.50 to cover tax. i tell him again, $100...says he cant do it. i walk away

find a guy a few tables over, has one for $489.99, says guy traded it today so he had to sell it as used, but it doesnt look like its ever been shot. one mag even had the pearce grip extension. get him to bite at my deal, and get me a new G26. took it to the glock armorer, got the hole behind the mag plugged up, and a +3 base for the other magazine.

pic w/ my M&P. sweet too, because my M&P fits a glock holster i got from a free raffle on another forum, so my glock seems to fit my comptac IWB quite well. score!

going out saturday to some land i got access to. we'll see how she does, and see if i can get into this whole glock thing.

right now i only have 3 handguns, and a bunch of long guns

the pf-9 is ok. i like it for summer because its easy to carry in my front pocket, but its so damn thin, its hard to shoot without having a sore hand afterwards. i shot it enough to get a feel for it incase i ever had to use it, but when i go out to shoot, i ususally shoot my M&P or another gun more than i do the kel-tec
