Friend needs a trench dug

Looking for someone that does excavating on here. He needs a trench dug from his house to the street for a city water connection. His house also sits 19ft above street level.

 

Let me know what you can offer and time frames for setting up estimates.

Tell him to rent a walk-behind trencher.

 

Rule of thumb is about 100ft/hr. Give or take.

I got a backhoe with a 1 foot bucket if you want. Let me know where he lives. Or just rent a mini excavator from sunbelt rentals and do it yourself. They are easy to run. Just make sure you know where all the other utilities are so you dont hit anything else.

He can do it himself is what he told me. He just doest have the time. He owns a car dealership, so that takes up most of his time. The guys got money if someone wants to do it. I think I forgot to add up top that he needs some "piped layed" also.

A mini excavator is more expensive and slower for installing a waterline.

 

A walk behind/side trencher would suit the job well.
