Rally Pat
I haven't done it yet, but what all did they update? Did they add the turn by turn they said would be in a near future update?

Did they add the turn by turn they said would be in a near future update? No just bug fixes, the turn by turn and other stuff will be next month in the 2.1.0 update. smokin5s
How does everyone like their iTouch? so far, I've been disappointed in it... GPS only works if you are in a wireless hotspot and it seems like most apps don't work unless you are connected to a wireless hotspot which I'm surprised unless I'm at Easton or somewhere, there really is a limited connectivity. the iPhone seems to be much better in this regard. What fixes does .02 fix that .01 has?

They become more apparent if you have an iPhone. They kind of rushed the 2.0 software, and it kind of ended up being like Windows in terms of stability. They are working on fixing it, though. sciongirl
btw... i suggest using MediaMonkey instead of iTunes. it sync's it with any iPod or iPhone and is much better... you can sync up with multiple computers as well.

hot_wire
Those of you with the ipod touch: what do you think of the onscreen keyboard? I would be very tempted to get a touch if there was an external keyboard offered, as I could take quick notes on it without lugging the laptop. What fixes does .02 fix that .01 has? This is because the iTouch is not a GPS device. The only way to locate itself is through detecting it's proximity to wireless access points by reading the Mac address and connecting to the database over a wireless connection. The SMS keyboard lag and 3G coverage fix and other minor things. This update mainly fixes iPhone bugs.
