clayton006 Posted September 12, 2008 Report Share Posted September 12, 2008 Hello, I had a out of town shop fix my rear pinion seal in my 98 Trans Am and they bent up the rear diff. cover. I posted in the For Sale forums to purchase one, but I was just asking how feasible it would be to try and hammer it back in place. I've been adding fluid to it because I don't drive it more than once a week, but any help or advice would be appreciated. It looks like it's going to be another 2 weeks before they have the covers in stock, looks like I'm going to need to get some GM additive and gear oil today to keep me stocked for a while.
