Normally Im all for freedom of religion from government prosecution. Which should include any religion no matter how rediculous. But Scientology is far from a religion and can most often be compared to an 'organization' (their own member's refer to it as "the org") or corporation.

 

It should be known that Tom Cruise and all the other fucking whacko celebrities that rally behind this facade aren't technically IN the church of scientology, they just observe it. If they were IN the church they would be required to literally give the church all of their worldly posession's and live in the slums with the rest of the scientology sheep.

All religion is like this. Every ridiculous story about alien souls living in us, is proportionally moronic compared to the nonsense in the bible(raising the dead,7 day creation, 2 of every animal on a boat), or anything in the Quaran (72 virgin heaven is dumb enough by itself).

 

Monetarily christians are required to give 10% of their income.(gross or net?) Islam has a whole sliding scale set up to rip off its members on 8 different levels. Like all religion Scientology fleeces and robs its members in similar form, but through courses, and leveling up ... LIKE W.O.W !

 

Now that I think about it aliens existing are still a within modicum of logical reason. So I guess that means ... nah ... Scientology is for morons and pyschos.
