ForeverMaker
tons of photos: http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6854 Accessories are towards the bottom. I think they are a nice balance of traditional honkiness and modern design. With all the ground effects they sort of start looking like chargers. Guest tbutera2112
rs/ss should have been an option on the 4th gens...i liked the look of the rs and the power of the ss...i didnt read that link but i havent heard anything about an rs/ss model yet...anyone know if there will be? ForeverMaker
There will be a V6, an RS or Z28 (exact name not announced yet), and an SS. MSRP rumors are the base V8 will be around 30k, and the SS 34k. Which will be WAY OVERPRICED. People are just going to keep snapping up Mustangs. Guest tbutera2112
wont be too bad...a mustang gt is around 30... markup is what will kill the camaros i bet
ForeverMaker
MSRP on a GT is $26,775. But yes the initial markup will be killer. And we all know how Chevy does with new models. Loads of kinks to be worked out.

Loads of kinks to be worked out. i meant after markup and stuff...you can pickup a gt 28-32 depending on options and your haggling skills...but i agree, that camaro will have a huge markup...if they sold at 35k off the lot for a base v8, i think they would sell great, but i doubt that will happen..look at the challenger
ForeverMaker
Completely not trying to split hairs here, but trying to understand something... are you saying GTs are going for over MSRP? With an invoice of $24,577 you would think they would be selling around that price. Just curious. (now I know all those shelby editions get marked way up, which is surprising with gas the way it is.) Guest tbutera2112
oh im not sure...maybe im wrong, since gas has gone up... i looked at some last year (not to buy, just while i was at a dealership) and thats what they were going for
Scotty2Hotty
I hope chevy goes bankrupt from it. Disgusting, the damn sport appearance package looks like something from Fast and Furious. The designers all need lined up and shot for screwing up an American icon like the camaro. AJ
there will be NO Z28, i know this for a fact from someone i know on the inside. there will be a camaro, LT and SS. the RS can be put on the LT and SS only. the base V6 is 300hp. i plan on ordering a RS/SS next month. V8 Beast
Something to me is a little off on the design. I 'll wait until I see it in person and in different colors before I make my decision.
Guest tbutera2112
im not a fan of the rear at all...the rest of debatable... +1 to seeing it in person first

Mopar
that is one ugly camaro. i can't see them looking that much better in person. it needs cosmetic mods for sure. big fail on the interior.

No, there is no mark up on a GT. You can get them below MSRP with rebates or x,a,d plans! Also, you can get a Shelby for MSRP. They have been selling for MSRP some or less for about a year now! Sparky
I actually like it. The interior is too flashy for me and a bit tacky but i like it overall.
2 Sweet
Ehh, still indifferent. The SS looks nice, I really like how they added that front lip. The rear still looks goofy. The interior is really cool but kinda weird. I really don't know what to think about it yet. I do know that the exterior add-on crap looks horrible, especially that big spoiler and rear diffuser, yuck. The "blade" spoiler is nice though
TTQ B4U
I like the exterior, hate the interior. I can appreciate the interior attempt to be retro, but it looks like the quality of a Cobalt.
GonneVille
Complete and utter failure. The exterior is just wrong, and you can't even call the interior gay. It's FAGGY. I'm pretty sure Ru Paul could design something more masculine. That is the worst fucking failure in design. I want to say, "worst since xxxxx" but I literally cannot think of a production vehicle that has ever been that stupidly flashy, badly laid-out, and downright FUGLY. You could go to a Japanese auto-indutry show, and not find one concept in the bunch as stupid looking as that thing. As unimaginative as GM design has been at some points, I can't think of a GM car from the past 25 years that was actually UGLY. They just blew that all in one go. Zach1647545520
OMG! Soo many F-Bodies! Ahhhhhh. But I think the new camaro is pretty sweet. I don't see myself driving one but still cool.
