92dropgt Posted October 2, 2008 Report Share Posted October 2, 2008 hmm, they go on kinda hard, i had 2 of the caps fall out when i pulled mine from the mani. the only thing i can think of is try and use your thumbs on each side and leverage. you get any info on just buying parts? hpfiend Posted October 3, 2008 Report Share Posted October 3, 2008 Get the ones from NAPA- 5.00 is cheap compared to the alternative of a new injector or worse a whole set. I used the caps and o-rings numerous times when I had mine- I couldn't ever get them out without one cracking. If you are curious- I could probably find the part number. Nitrousbird Posted October 4, 2008 Report Share Posted October 4, 2008 They are called a pintle cap, and I've had to buy them before for some SVO injectors I sold several months ago. Got a set on E-bay for .88 each + shipping (could buy a whole bunch for the same shipping rate). Just find them on E-bay; they work great.
