JaSSon
I did a quickie wash and detail on the SS: http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/TB%20SS/Driverside.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/TB%20SS/Side.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/TB%20SS/back.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/TB%20SS/hood.jpg http://i119.photobucket.com/albums/o149/loaded321/TB%20SS/rims.jpg Washed with Dawn Clay barred all painted surfaces Rinse 2 coats of Z2 Finished off with Z6 I cleaned the wheels with Armor All All wheel cleaner and a brush, then I hit them with my RA buffer and a lot of Z2. <- I was pleasantly suprised, this worked quite well. TTQ B4U
Looks great...now go shave the Trailblazer Emblem off the back Heck, I'd shave them all off.
JaSSon
Looks great...now go shave the Trailblazer Emblem off the back Heck, I'd shave them all off. I might take the Trailblazer emblem off. I kind of like the "SS" emblems tho. GM put a lot of work into those. They're actually a pearlescent white with a chrome outline, not just white plastic. My sig is a photo of my truck that I've done some chopping on.

JaSSon
I dont call 6.5 hrs a quickie:D If I had more time I would have done a 3rd coat of Z2 and another of Z6 and done a better job on the rims. I've spent way more time on the Mustang before.
SSick06
Nice job, I have an identical SS, Have you had trouble with the paint chipping in front of the rear wheels. GM has a Paint Chip TSB out for that reason on our vehicles. I just had the dealer take a look, I didn't know if you have encountered any problems. I couldn't tell from the pics, usually a good sealer will protect it from that to an extent, but not completely, just curious.

The dealership repainted the back doors and the rocker panels and applied a 3M clear bra to the lower 1/3 of the door and the flair on the rocker panels. It's just too bad they did a shitty job wet sanding. I still need to fix that.

GTPSS
Do you visit Rooster's in Grove City frequently??? I see a black SS there everytime I'm there. BTW-just had the TSB done a couple weeks ago...not a good as it could've been. And they forgot to put my badges back on the side. I got 1/2 my SS repainted though. SSick06
I love the SS, it looks badaSS. I was thinking about getting one next year. I love mine, But I swear as TBSS owners we pay for GM's terrible designs, small things always happening, seems like i am at the shop more then I actually drive it for somthing stupid. But like i said I still love it
