ponyjr1647545514
ok guys i bought a BBK air intake from someone with a 99-04 mustang and he moded it so it no longer has the hole for the sensor, and my 98 gt requires one. i have for now just taped the sensor out of the way but have noticed a huge drop in mpg so i imagine that it is running rich do to the heat. anyone have an idea of how to fix this issue? tonight im going to swap back to my opened stock with k&n. ill take some pics if i can. thanks
Guest Hal
Drill a hole in it, put a grommet there, and push the sensor in. I leave mine laying outside the piping, ambient air works fine for me.
