  1. Another vote for the Scala G9x. I've used Sena, decent stuff but I'm a Cardo fan boy for sure.
  2. Helmet looks awesome. Very nice work. Dig the CB as well. looks like its in good hands.
  3. Let me know if you'd sell just the tires.
  4. I've often times thought about their Ford "plug and play" system for the 5.0 Mustangs and what it would take to modify it to work on my 92 F350 460. Hardest part would be using their trans controller.
  5. For sure a MAC. I had the same one on an old Kaw.
  6. Optima batteries have found their way into a few of my cars, all of them red tops. -02 Jeep Wrangler 4L -98 Mustang GT -06 Mustang GT -09 Forester 2.5L Only two batteries I would put in would be Optima (first choice) or Interstate. I had Interstate batteries in the Jeep and my Super duty. Jeep one sucked after about a year and the Super Duty's made it through the two or so years I had it.
  7. These came on a set of wheels I just bought. Conti Extreme Contact Dr Unknown usage. Email for pictures or with questions. Asking $250 correction, these are 225/45/17 Should fit fine on 17x7 or 17x17.5
  8. Do yourself a favor and do not do the pod filters. They make proper jetting a nightmare. If you are dead set on it, order a Dynojet jet kit (it includes stage 1 & 3) it will make things a lot easier. They usually has decent instructions. They run about $125 http://www.dynojet.com/pdf/4103.pdf
  9. I honest to god know a guy that put 100,000 miles on a VTR 1000 super hawk, with no motor work out side of a water pump, two valve adjustments and one clutch kit. Just depends on how you take care of a bike. His was VERY clean and ran great when sold, wouldn't have thought twice about buying it. Keep in mind he was the only owner and had all service records.
  10. I have a stock GT throttle body from when i put my GT500 one on...Electronics and all. builtthistough@aol.com
  11. What are you doing about the speedo being off?
  12. Amsoil has a Zinc enriched oil now. It's called ZROD, hear it's good stuff for the older style motors. http://www.amsoil.com/a/synthetic-motor-oil-engine-oil
  13. WTB stock rear sway bar (19mm) and bushings off any 08+ STI Let me know, thanks!
  14. Just special order some, can normally have it the next day or two.
  15. I've had my 03 7.3 for about a year now, it's been my first diesel. I love the thing, tows anything you can throw at it, always starts right up, and has only been in the shop once since i've had it. Has 140k on it now, stock glow plugs, wiring harnesses, relays...not to bad. I had to have the o-rings under the turbo replaced, which are known for leaking. Like others have said, commonly rust out, mine is no exception. my oil pan was starting to bubble a bit, but sanded it down, primed it and coated it in rust-fix. cab corners and over fenders are going now. one thing others haven't touched on are the front hub bearings, had to do them on mine, not hard to do just kinda pricey at 300+ per side. They do well with simple mods too. I've got: 4 inch turbo back 6637 intake (the best DIY intake lots of write ups) Hypertech 100hp tune HPX (high pressure crossover line, makes idle quiter and smoother)
  16. I went to this haunted house years ago when i was like 13 i think. scared the hell out of me back then.
  17. i've got the Pypes Violator axle backs, sounded great before the o/r h pipe. i love the way it sounds now but has a lot of pop and crackle.
  18. I went with the OEM sensor, can't remember how much it was. Wasn't to bad to install.
  19. these are known for crank sensor problems, my 04 needed it replaced, fixed the issue.
  20. Marine batteries typically do not charge well with automotive style charging systems, as they are not designed for it. Marine batteries are built to hold a charge for a long period of time, not everyday use. The other issue is the cranking power, a deep cell with only 440cca would not last long in a vehicle equipped with a 700cca stock. i suggest trying to sell the deep cell on craigslist or something and pick up a appropriate battery for the van, it will last longer and so would your alternator.
  21. I would be, can you or someone you know install?
  22. 200 bucks gets you both items!!! who's buying?
