Could of kept going to. But a solid 723WHP on pump gas was good enough. When you see this car/ hear it it doesn't sound like that sound should come from a G8. He picked up over 100HP at points with the new cam!

So did u guys just put in new rod bolts and a cam basically? Stock motor? What motor is in these?

 

 

Just K Tech rod Bolts. This is what was recommended from a engineer at GM. Suppose to be stronger then ARP. Other then that, the short block is stock. The heads are untouch minus valvesprings.

 

This motor is referred to as a L76. Detuned LS3 from what I gather.
