Stimmel1647545512
I didnt know where to put this so I thought this was the best choice but sorry if I am wrong Anyways I put some masking tape on my car to tape it off while cleaning up under the hood, didnt mess with the car for a while now it seems the glue part of the tape is stuck on the car. Went to the car wash the power was did a lil help but what kinda solvent can I use to get that off without messing up the paint?? Thanks

AudiOn19s
I agree with Aaron. Start with Goo Gone. It's actually pretty tame compared to some of the other solvents out there so it doesn't work as quickly but it's safe and easy to use. Put some on a rag and let it soak into the area in question for 30 seconds and then gently aggitate. Try not to scrub too hard no matter what so you avoid scratching the paint. 3M makes an amazing adhesive remover (white and red can) if the goo gone doesn't work first.
