LOR exhaust

K&N filter

Powercommander PC3 USB

galfer front and rear braided lines and hh pads

RK chin and sprocket kit 520 conversion

GPR stabilizer

maintenance:

change oil and filter

change brake fluid

change coolant

new front tire (rear replaced about a month ago)

my question is anyone ever use the glafer HH pads, how grabby are they?? are they almost too much for street use

Shim the rear shock 3 or 4mm and run a 120/70 front. You'll get a little more contact area on the front and it makes the front feel quite a bit better.

Glafer HH pads are supposed to be pretty good for street use, they've got a little higher friction rating than the EBC HHs and they don't require as much heat to actually work. They're also designed so heat doesn't transfer to the fluid.

Most people do say NOT to use the HHs on the rear though.

avoid oil with friction modifiers.

Galfer HH pads and stainless front lines are the shit. Fine for the street, you will never be able to ride stock after using them.

I always keep the stock pads and rubber line in the rear.

To compensate for the 70 front tire on my R6 I raised the fork tubes 3mm through the triple. Definitely better than stock when laid over.

K&N usually end up being a waste on these newer bikes. I'd recommend a fresh set of plugs over the air filter depending on mileage.

You should have lowered the front...

  • 2 weeks later...

ill be taking the bike to Brian at dyno tune once its ready to go.

it made 98.8 rwhp stock, so hopefully ill gain a few extra ponies with the mods and tune.

i have decided on running mobile 1 racing 4t or motorex

probably the mobile 1 though is what ill be pouring in.

and got a link to these brake pads you talk of??

after the holidays ill be ordering the braided lines, and getting new pads

and flushing the brake system.

ill be flushing the cooling system as well, that should be alot of fun
