bahd-ler
I have a 2000 Ram w/ the cummins. When the truck shifts into od, its been holding out in the previous gear longer. For example no matter how fast or slow I excellerate most of the time it doesn't shift till about 2-2100 rpm. Also the past couple of days its been "hiccupping" (its seems to want to downshift but gets half way there then remains in 4) in od. Can anyone help. John Bruh
its a dodge, the only trannies that are good are the 6spds. drop in an ATS auto and be done with it.

XChris1632X
Whats done to it? If you are making enought power it a brand new stock rebuild can go within 1k miles. Depends on how you drive it. I can recomend a couple people that can build them stronger for a good price. Mine is holding up well with 200hp sticks an edge comp and some other bolt ons. I have made some pulls behind a slep with mine also. I less than 1800 in my trans. I think your trans is gone, specially if its hunting for gears.
