Ashley
http://gizmodo.com/5089667/slegoon-sled-might-as-well-double-as-a-coffin Slegooning is a new winter sport in which participants travel down a snow-covered slope in single person sledge-type crafts, called Slegoons, in full-contact races. They can continue even when overturned. The Slegoon won first prize in the UK IOM3 Design Innovation in Plastics competition 2003, and has received international press, from magazines like Blueprint and Design Week. www.coroflot.com http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/gizmodo/2008/11/4_g31Ve_58.jpg http://cache.gawker.com/assets/images/gizmodo/2008/11/5_jcPrb_58.jpg http://www.trendhunter.com/images/phpthumbnails/29662_3_468.jpeg . Science Abuse
Getting pulled around behind a car > that Dunno, 25mph down a slope is more fun, because you can steer but you cant stop. Glissading/falling a few hundred feet down a coloir was more fun than 60mph on a tube behind a truck. Slegooning looks like a premature orgasm. The sleds don't exist yet, thosre are all cgi or chops. This is a guy fishing for sponsors so he can build a prototype.... and be killed by nailing a tree at 5mph.
