  1. I guess they've been doing a lot of under cover operations lately to catch places that pass vehicles when they shouldn't. I'm afraid to try my luck, ha
  2. Anything done to it that would cause it to not pass a vehicle inspection (emissions and whatnot)? I just moved to NC and apparently they are big on that here :|
  3. What kind of lights did upgrade to? -AJ
  4. I honestly love my CTS-V. I drive 60+ total miles everyday for work and 20+ total miles for other daily things such as going to the gym... I've also autocrossed my car many times. My point: I've put my car through a lot and so far it's kept up with my demands
  5. Kicker subs and Kenwood amp are still available. Make me an offer... the prices are negotiable!
  6. See ya monday then!
  7. You're welcome and good luck with the forumwars race!
  8. Kicker 12" subs - SOLD! Qlogic box - SOLD! Kenwood amp - SOLD! JVC 560 watt amp - SOLD! Sony Xplod CD receiver - SOLD!
  9. This is what custom work you DON'T want to do to a vette! (Sorry if any of you guys already saw this on Corvette Forum) http://jalopnik.com/5504752/the-worlds-worst-custom-corvette The original post on Corvette Forum: http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c6-corvette-general-discussion/2556979-wtf-c6-in-evansville-in.html
  10. I agree with you about St. Croix... I was there a couple months ago and didn't want to leave.
  11. I have a BS in Computer Information Systems and just a Red Hat Certification... needless to say I'm the only person on my team (system admin) with anything that pertains to computers. Two of the guys have a degree in photography/graphic design type stuff, another guy in aerospace dynamics, and the rest have nothing. When interviewing people they pretty much laugh when someone comes in and is proud to have all kinds of certs. I have mixed feelings on whether having a degree/cert in the IT field helps because it seems to me all everyone looks at is the number years of experience.

    The Gun Game

Here's something to keep you busy on your bored days at work: http://www.silvergames.com/game/the-gun-game
  14. I would do that except for the fact that I don't want to wake up one day with him on my face or something! The hotel I stayed at in San Juan had them everywhere in the room so you had to watch everywhere you walked otherwise you'd step on them.
  15. Scared the crap out of me. He blends in with our floor so I didn't notice he was right by my foot while I was stretching from working out. We have someone who wants him, but if that falls through then I'll let you guys know. We can't keep him because we have no supplies plus I'm sure my cats will see him as food or their next toy.
  16. Anything for a Unix System Administrator? Linux (RHEL and SLES), Solaris, AIX, HP-UX
  17. I just got back from a trip to Puerto Rico and a big cruise all over the Caribbean. Needless to say someone decided to follow me home in my luggage. The gecko is only about 2 inches long and who knows if any other creatures joined. http://allash.com/CR/CIMG3444.jpg http://allash.com/CR/CIMG3445.jpg http://allash.com/CR/CIMG3447.jpg http://allash.com/CR/CIMG3448.jpg Fancy a crisp?
  18. AJ said most of it but I'll go ahead and write it up in my words since I'm the one driving it... The V is my daily driver from Reynoldsburg to Dublin everyday and I also autocross it any chance I get. Drives very nice and has a good kick so I can easily zip through traffic. Brakes suck for autocross but are fine for daily driving. Rear diff is a big problem.... if you feel it start to hop just let out a bit. I get a freaking ton of attention for it, but then again how many times do you see a girl driving a classy high horsepowered car and races? I've never been into Cadillac (mainly because I associate them with old people) but after having the V, I am very impressed and will recommend this car to anyone that talks to me about it. I say you already have a BMW so try something new Marc!
  19. What year is it? Have you ever replaced any of the bulbs?
  20. We took off all the hinges and handles, cut out the entire center, sanded and painted them black, cut glass and put frosted film on them, put the glass in the center (we left a beveled edge so the glass will hold) and applied black silicon, then put on new hinges and handles. The bottom cabinets don't have the center cut out they are just painted black and have new hardware.
  21. Reminder: everything is "or best offer" so feel free to PM/email me what you feel any of the items you want are worth!

The house is owned by both of use. We have lots of pics but they aren't great since we are still fixing the place up (it was foreclosed). We'll take some new ones tomorrow hopefully and post them up in the Cribs thread.
