shanton both your examples are cars with something already done to them....heres the real break down in just parts...

fc-1k

motor/trans-3-4k

mounts 1k

cooling system 500(and thats for bare minumum.

exhaust-200 (*bare minimum)

fuel pump 100

clutch hydros 400

there are alot of little things you are not taking into consideration...for the most bare minimum and if cheating alot of corners....6k-7k. BARE MINIMUM

He's right. I looked into the swap when I was pissed at my car. Its not as cheap as you think, if you do it right.

i planned on spending 8 on my swap but ended up spending 13k...but that included pullin the rotary, pullin the ls1, converting to manual. all that on top of what i paid for just the normal install....minus that stuff i stayed close budget...

I've spent over $8k on mine (car + parts) and it's still not road worthy yet.

The car i posted just needs an engine and trans thats it. The question was asked if it could be done and i proved my point with my link.

The car is ready just needs a buyer and a motor/trans.

Car is practuically turn key.

He also said what would this project take to get done there was no set starting point as for why i posted a car that was halfway done for hella cheap.
