I am in need of an electrician to check out our home's wiring.

I am wanting to add a 220V Outlet in our Garage. Currently, there entire service for the Garage is a 30A 220V Circuit.

I am wanting an estimate (free is better ;) ) for adding this service.

Steve,

You need to talk to my father. He did this in his garage for his big welder and for when we got the shop.

Just research it, I did my own last year its pretty simple. I did a garage heater but it was 240. I just ran the 3 wire I think and put in a new breaker.

I know enough to be dangerous if you want help.

This is why it's hard to make money as an electrician, everybody thinks they are one.

True, but many "electricians" overcharge for simple work. If they wouldn't charge so much, people would be more likely to get it done instead of risking it themselves.

That said, do it yourself. It's not that hard.
