hot_wire
Do tire manufacturers stand behind the warranties that they place on tires? I've got a set of BFG Traction TA's that only lasted 12,000 of their warranted 60,000 miles. Purchased the tires at NTB if that makes any difference... I was reading through the fine print on BFG's website, and it looks like they have plenty of ways to escape the warranty. They might get me because of uneven treadwear (the outsides are worn significantly more than the insides, even though my car had a fresh alignment and plenty of tire pressure). hot_wire
PM Turborust and see what he can do. Didn't purchase them at his NTB and he shouldn't have to make up for it. This seems like more of an issue to take up with BFG... I think?
evan9381
i could be way off, but i think if you killed a 60k mile tire in 12k miles, theres gonna be something thats your fault. tires dont wear that quickly for no reason

I do about half highway, half city. There was the one auto-x event before I got race slicks... Surely those 5 laps couldn't have taken 48,000 miles off. neonkiller
we can get credit to you for them, trust me wherever you take them and they get you credit they will make money off of it. Didn't purchase them at his NTB and he shouldn't have to make up for it. This seems like more of an issue to take up with BFG... I think? Kevin R.
That is not a "warranty" per say. But yes, they should credit you for what you used. Sounds like something is definitely wrong on your end and I would get it corrected before you slap another new set of tires on there.
