This thing is sick, Its prolly in my line up of cars to build one day.

9 notch stang (ex turbo 2.3 car)

manual brakes

manual steering

weld in subframe connectors

drive shaft loop

8 Point roll bar

Rear seat delete

Racing seats

Full auto meter gauge cluster with a full set of ultralites including 160mph speedo

weld draglite 15x3.5 front with 165R skinnies

weld draglite 15x10 Rear with 275/60R15 M/T drag radials

Lakewood 50/50 rear shocks

Lakewood 90/10 front struts

tubular rear control arms

dropped lower control arm brackets

welded/ Reinforced torque boxes

16 gallon aluminum fuel cell with gauge

Aeromotive A1000 fuel pump

Aeromotive A1000 Boost reference Fuel regulator

1/2 Line

built 8.8(welded axle tubes,31 spline strange spool,31 spline moser axles C clip elims)

Built th400 full manual reverse pattern valve body, Deep +3qt aluminum pan

TCI 10" 3500-3800 converter

pin on fiberglass 5" Extended cowl hood

2004 gm 5.3 lsx based truck motor

comp 212/218 and .522/.529 lift on 114 LSA

Arp cam retainer bolts

Arp rod bolts

ls1 Corvette intake

Ported Throttle body

60lb injectors

comp 918 beehive valve springs

comp titanium valve spring retainers

comp 7.4" hardened pushrods

stock ecm tuned by (blackx) via HP-tuners

Custom turbo kit built by me

Turbonetics Tc76mps Water cooled ball bearing turbo

38mm wastegate

cheap blow off valve

3" Downpipe Dumped in front of front tire.

 

it's running great.On only 10 lbs and pump gas very soft tune , super soft launch the slip looked like this , Very first time car was at the track:

 

60 ft - 1.85

1/8 mile et - 7.3

1/8 mile mph - 103

1/4 mile et - 11.24

1/4 mile mph - 129.5

i dont understand the appeal of people spending so much time and money building foxbody chevy cars... not knocking it, im sure its fast, i just dont understand why

although I do not like aje, the do make the kmember kit that you can order a motor mount with it to virtually bolt any motor into the fox. They make it simple, I just have had bad product supply from them. That way really anyone can do the swap and its mostly just bolt on that way

cars slow with all the work he put in it stock 5.0l with turbo will net 10s with a good tune

 

What dont you understand about this. Sounds like the car would have plenty more potential if pressed harder.
