Radio Flyer1647545514
What gives the school the right to search through the kids phones anyway?

HAOLE
This is an example of the law being wrong. Should the kids be doing this? No. Should the be charged with Child porn? No, they are children themselves. Why are the people the got the pics being charged? If the girls put in the wrong number to text to and someone else got the pics instead, they could be charged with the crime too.:bs:

l36tols1
So the teachers invaded their privacy by going in their phones and snitching.. wow..
HAOLE
also shouldn't the girls be charged with distribution of child porn? First line Three teenage girls who allegedly sent nude or semi-nude cell phone pictures of themselves, and three male classmates in a Greensburg Salem High School who received them, are charged with child pornography. Lets say I know people who both received an email from a friend working at a municipal building containing a file off that computer.. Then lets say cops raided two houses because of people being sent an email. The law is fucked up. Take a look at this video. There is no justice any more. Just a society of "criminals"
BloodRed
The kids should not be using there cell phones during school hours. As for the search, look in your kids school handbook. It pretty much says that if you bring it onto school property it is subject to be searched. This is a violation of the rights of the students, but because they make the parents of the students sign a form stating that they have read and agree to the terms of the student handbook, legally they can do the search. My wife did a lot of research into students rights and how they are violated when she was in High School. It got her a trip to the UN where she spoke about it. nurkvinny
Remember back when you were 16 and 17, and you were just fucking 15 and 16 year old girls, WITHOUT worrying about being arrested? Ridiculous.
Twistedrx7
I have a feeling a lawsuit is going to come of this. The parents will probably sue the school for searching a cellular phone without probable cause of them doing something wrong on their phone. You can't help who get's your number and whats sent to your phone. And taking the cell phone is one thing. But invading the privacy of the phone is another. Rice Eater
Why don't the kids just lock thier phones requiring a password to access it's content? Isn't this possible to do? How many cops copied said nude child porn pics for their collection? Let's just say I used to know a officer of the law that kept momentos of his public service...he also liked to watch young guys do his wife, but that's another story.
