igotaprestent4u1647545491
you dont want to have to depend on a heavily modded car to get to work every day. hence why i have a bone stock civic to daily, in addition to my gti and bike. kirks5oh
Don't worry this time next year he will be starting a thread like this. "Ok we just got 2 feet of snow in the last week and plan on getting another foot. " yeah, i know. i'm enjoying it while i can.
Lustalbert
The V does fine as a daily, the tires just suck all ass on the snow. Just have to check the fun foot when road conditions start to suck. 346@ wheels.
Alex L.
The Cummins is great in the snow.....in 4wd. Without 4wd engaged, it's like a reenactment of Tokyo Drift with 505 ft/lbs. Tyler, does the said truck have 4wd, or is it just 2wd? Edited January 22, 2009 by Alex L.
Dave1647545494
my buick did ok in snow at 510 ftlbs. it was also 23 feet long and weighed 3500 lbs
Radio Flyer1647545514
RWD in the snow sucks in general if you don't have some great tires on it. I have RWD and have my subs in the trunk and starting in snow from a stop SUCKS. Makes me scared to pull out into traffic for fear that I just won't make it out quick enough. My car is super tiny though so...
2highpsi
Mine used to be a daily driver, but now I park it so the salt doesn't destroy it. Even though it's all wheel drive it's a mofo to drive in bad weather. Twin disk clutch + high boost + stock frame fast spooling turbo = sucks in winter. One of the reasons I went with the Evo was so I could drive it year round, and now I have another winter garage ornament.
cremean
A 400awhp Evo with Dunlop Graspics is the most fun you can have on four wheels in the snow. http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c374/mcremean/white%20evo/n30105029_32805226_3232.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c374/mcremean/white%20evo/n30105029_32805227_3462.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c374/mcremean/white%20evo/n30105029_32805228_3693.jpg http://i31.photobucket.com/albums/c374/mcremean/white%20evo/n30105029_32805229_3927.jpg
GTO1
Mines a daily driver but I also don't bring it out in the winter because of the salt
