there not excuses. and i admit i got beat by the gayon. i am just saying that it will get beat. i had several issues with my car that day. list- bald streettires = no traction/ clutch slipping, low bottle psi, i was spraying for 3 weeks up untill track day, my exhaust fell of twice at the track. and i havent been to a track since 07 norwalk track day. the srt4 ran well and impressed me. I have never seen a car get hot lapped like that.

pssssh i had balt street tires an even worse drag radials. i spun to the 660... my exhaust hung low... NO SPRAY eathier.... oh an yea it got hot lapped.. when we raced i think it had liek 30 passes alreaddy on it... tisk tisk

ur car had a break before we ran and u poped your hood and turn some nobs and shit and yeah the mustang is going to be interesting because i have never seen a bbf in a 99-04 car

adjusting my a/f cause on the last pass it was running wayyyyyyy lean. its cool man we can race again. just be mindfull my car will be the same as it wa son track day. better hope i dont get a fresh set of drag radials :bangbang:

i have a holley 750, but rob is trying to trade it for a 850 with someone

trying to get my old 850 race carb back from someone. since this is rather very close to my old motor....should just rebuild it and bolt it on and be able to go..only difference in this motor from my old one is the cam. and the color

lol i was gonna say demon or edlebrock, never quadrajunk. My only issues with holley is they tend to leak on the crossover tube and then go out of adjustment easy in my experience. I know when there tuned in though they perform very well.

cross over tube? im not putting a junk holley on it, and i dont like edelchocks, on a good hard gear change the jets come uncovered with the fuel moving rearward, cause the jets face downward in them.

 

sounds like the holley you have played with was a junk single feed.

lol. i have never heard eldechockes. Sounds like you are running a good holley then. When will this all be finished up so i can see the outcome?

just looking for a time frame. This is a very interesting build to me.

 

well i wanna find a 99-04 v-6 chassis on the cheap now....:cool:

 

i think stock 5.0 drivetrain in one would be cool to start base lining some new products im coming up with the the tired old 5.0 cars.:D

well i got sick of working on other junk, and took a hour and spent some time fitin shit.

put the suspension mostly together, so this way i can move it

and to be honest, with the spacers, it fit in this car way better then it does in mine

have to clearance one header tube for the steering shaft just like in the fox body, but it fit like a glove like i figured....

still need to figure trans mounting out, but isnt going to be much of a issue for me. then pull it all back out and clean this bitch up..its very dirty..
