c-6. there are guys putting 2000 hp thru these! with mostly stock parts.

after market input shafts, and a billet front drums are the only thing really made for these other then valves bodys, which some one the name brand ones(tci) dont work. but there is a guy in canada that builds and races the shit out of these. they come with 3 different bell housings, that is the one of the big ones.

frank runs 7's with his all year long, and just refresh's in the winter. he also has the fix for tci valve bodys and also builds his own trans brake unit. which i have one of.

price wise....depends on the year, weather its even worth it or not. and the cj trans are the beefist from the get go. build there can be up there with full tilt. i have a 1000 in mine, with franks valve body being 425 of it(mine was 100 cheaper cause i had one of the valve body it takes to build a trans brake, reverse manual.

Most people prefer to paint their boat anchors a bright color, it makes them easier to find when and if the rope/chain breaks.

better worry about it breaking off in your ass.:bangbang:

lol ill be used to it by the time its ready to be beaten on... still gotta break it in first, and then put some 31 spline axles in it before it gets hammered on too hard...not going to spend all the time and money putting it together just to break it the first time we take it out...my axles got 160k on them and are weak stock to begin with

my weak stock never broke

did you have 28s with 160k? people take their 8.8s into the 9s without breaking, and my shits so old and worn out i broke my spider gears with less than 250rwhp...whats going to happen to those axles when i got more? im not worried about the carrier anymore, except i wish i woulda replaced the clutch packs too, but oh well

we will talk about it more next time im over...im pretty set on 31s because having a broke rear end sucks... dont wanna break it twice in a year... and when you drive my car, you drive the shit out of it...if anything isnt up to par im sure you will find it the first run out after break in! lol
