conn-e-rot
What brand of stands do you use?Has anyone tried the T-Rex stands on ebay? Not a bad deal both front and rear for $130.00 with free shipping but how good are they?
nochknstrps
Mclovin got a set last year. I think he may have even paid $90 for the set. As far as I know he hasn't had any problems with them. Edited January 25, 2009 by nochknstrps

mrmako777
I've heard the trex ones aren't that good. Vortex are pretty good and cheaper than pit bull. I have the vortex front and rear and they're solid as hell
jetspeedz
I use pitbull b/c they are made in the USA and they have quality products backed by warranties and the guys there are great. Benyen Soljax
ive got a t rex rear. you can get them directly from trex for cheaper tham 130 for a set on their website. the only con to the trex is that they bolt together and its not quite as rigid all the time like a stand thats only one piece. ive never thought the bike was unstable while on the stand however. Lost1888
I bought a rear TRex in December and it has been fine. I was recommended them on Sv rider. I have been moving the bike around a lot and is has held up. I really don't see how they wouldn't hold up. Sometimes I think people just knock them because they have to justify that they bought stands of 2 to 3 times as much. Don't get me wrong the Pit Bulls I have seen are nice but I can't see a noticeable difference.
exSRAaron
I've heard they do the job just fine, of course theyre not as nice as pitbulls, which are like freakin tanks and welded together.

SJC1000rr
Looking at getting a set of stands now, but I still in research mode. Which type would be preferred, a standard rear stand or spooled stand? I'm not opposed to getting a set of spools for the bike, but thought I would check here before spending any extra cash. NinjaNick
I bought the universal stand front/rear set for $99 from www.handyindustries.com back in 2004 and have used them on a ZX12, ZX636, and now a ZX14. 5 years for $99 bucks and my bike is resting on them both right now in the garage. I'm purchasing some PitBulls though probably next year.
