Cordell
Do any of the sponsers on here do machine work themselves? I have a 6.0L LQ4 block and crank so far, and am looking to get them prepped. I have never built an engine before, but I am going to do as much of it as possible myself. So obviously I'll need to find the right place to perform the machine work. I want to find a place with the proper fixtures and some experience with LS type engines. Also when doing the work should I have the pistons I want to use before starting or not? I have some stuff picked out, but I'm not sure about checking the block first. I've gotten some recommendations from other people but thought I would get some opinions from other CR members, and give the sponsers a chance to get my bussiness. OneToEnvy
Phillips did my stuff too. I think it is a good to have the pistons first so that you can make it exact you dont want to find out after the fact that you shaved to much off the wall.lol
