I never had any issues with the BBK that I used. I had the single hook, with adjustable cable, and the firewall adjuster. I had to buy the firewall adjuster after the junk factory bushing decided that it wanted to smash on one side. Didn't make for good release of the clutch.

I use to make a modified version for the twin disc guys, truthfully the pro motion pieces are nice. Like already mentioned, that double and triple hook bull shit is a marketing scheme. Single hook is fine. Keep the factory cable though

If you have a a stock cable you NEED a double hook, I had a single hook (bbk quadrant) and with that a stock cable and a firewall adjuster the cable was too short no matter how far in the firewall adjuster clutch felt awesome but slipped under hard accel, brand new clutch as well at the time

i never run a stock cable..i always use the complete kit. that way, there is no second guessing

The problem is the aftermarket cables are junk. I've been through countless aftermarket cables on a lot of cars and yet to find a cable that feels like and lasts like the stock cable.

I always used a 3 hook quadrant and a firewall adjuster.
