Smokey
Atlantis/Paradise island /thread. in all reality though side-step, run, or do whatever to avoid the absolute bum rush you'll get of people trying to sell you crap right off the boat. There are some cool shops in the "downtown" area that you can check out. Nothing's really cheap or discounted there, but there's some things that you can get there and not other places. KillJoy
Per my friend Bob: Go to Atlantis Casino Hotel, they have a kick ass aquarium there. It is really big w/ sharks, rays and a shit ton of fish. DO NOT spend the $$$ for a "behind the scenes tour". KillJoy

Putty
dont go off the beaten path, youll get mugged really easy.. stay around all the resorts and what not.. Not true! Leave Paradise Island, Ferry to local side. Visit all the shops, swap meets and Casino's over there. Good times. Don't touch all the daily driven Skyline R34s
silverhatch
I love Skylines but I'll try not to touch.

Akula
Nassau is a dirty tourist trap. Take small denominations of US currency (no 20s). They won't be able to make change and will talk you into buying more crap. There really isn't much to see in Nassau, but the Yellow Bird booze cruise is fun and it goes to a private beach party. Putty
Go here and do these things...I took these http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/CLovaR1/Picture060.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/CLovaR1/Picture056.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/CLovaR1/Picture059.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/CLovaR1/Picture044.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/CLovaR1/Picture022.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v640/CLovaR1/Picture019.jpg
silverhatch
Awesome pics Putty! Thanks for the tip on taking small bills. We're also going to a private island the day before. Any good restaurants in Nassau?
silverhatch
bring me back a tshirt?? Sure. I've promised t-shirts to lots of people.
Akula
If there are any good restaurants, they are in Atlantis. BTW, it is a very interesting hotel, but it is a hotel. Go to the straw market, or get crazy and get lost (plan on being mugged if you do this). The cruise will have stuff you can do.
Vander
Yeah definately check out the skyline's. Also there is NOT entrapment in Nassau. SO the cops can trick you and arrest you.
Putty
Any good restaurants in Nassau? Dont remember any names, but you gotta try "Conch fritters". On the local side you can watch them catch conch and cut them out of shell to sell. Kinda interesting.
