sol740
Yep' date='my Storm uses an even smaller version of that.[/quote'] So couldn't he just take any ol' USB cable lying around and use it to transfer free pics and tones ? I know I have on every phone I've ever had that had a USB connector. Does the transfer software not exist ?
ODoyle
For verizon you have to have the music and tones pack from the store or something. So nope it doesnt quite work like that. But the emailing thing works well. Or you can spend 30 bucks and have the verizon software.

RadDawg
I've got the enV2, Radio Shack has a USB cable for it. When you plug in to the computer, go to tools menu, select USB Mass Storage and your PC will see the phone as a hard drive. I use Audacity to make my own, free download at download.com. Once you have the ringtone, transfer it to "my sounds" on the phone, send yourself a pic message with the ringtone attached. When you get your message, hit options, save as ringtone. It will save in the ringtone directory and you're done.

Rally Pat
my buddy is the owner/creator of mobile17.com He makes so much cash from that and his other websites. Sweet. Tell him to give me some credits so I don't have to wait in line. Also, ask him if he needs a CCNA.
