BRG 4 AutoX
My dad is getting to that point where he needs to replace the front pads of his 2005 Audi B6 S4. We took a wheel off this weekend and looked and looked for a secret bolt to unhinge the brake caliper. We couldn't find anything. Luckily there is more pad left than we thought, but they probably won't last through the summer with a few autocrosses. I couldn't find anything on the S4 forum, which doesn't seem very active anyways, and figured with a few S4 guys on here I could get a hint on where to look, hopefully it is similar to a B5 or another Audi. Thanks in advance

BRG 4 AutoX
Really? I've never seen anything like that. Then again I haven't been around cars that long either. Thanks for checking

Mr. Jones
If you have a b6 S4 you should only really have 1 possible caliper configuration. (has not changed since the new chassis) This should get you through it in no time: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/wheel137.shtml
BRG 4 AutoX
That's how I figured it would work. I'll have to take another closer look next time I'm home. Thanks

Now it doesn't seem too hard and all makes sense why we couldn't find the bolts, the Germans covered them! Thanks
Aaron
Same caliper is used in the 2004-2008 S4, 2005.5-2008 A4, MKV R32 and Passat 3.6 4 Motion. As far as I know, that is what they are used in, and they all use the same 345mm rotor except the A4. It should be easy, follow Jones link.
