Anyone ever do a B6 S4 brake job?

My dad is getting to that point where he needs to replace the front pads of his 2005 Audi B6 S4. We took a wheel off this weekend and looked and looked for a secret bolt to unhinge the brake caliper. We couldn't find anything. Luckily there is more pad left than we thought, but they probably won't last through the summer with a few autocrosses.

I couldn't find anything on the S4 forum, which doesn't seem very active anyways, and figured with a few S4 guys on here I could get a hint on where to look, hopefully it is similar to a B5 or another Audi.

Thanks in advance

If you have a b6 S4 you should only really have 1 possible caliper configuration.

(has not changed since the new chassis)

This should get you through it in no time:

That should help a lot. Now it doesn't seem too hard and all makes sense why we couldn't find the bolts, the Germans covered them!

Thanks

Same caliper is used in the 2004-2008 S4, 2005.5-2008 A4, MKV R32 and Passat 3.6 4 Motion. As far as I know, that is what they are used in, and they all use the same 345mm rotor except the A4.

It should be easy, follow Jones link.
